Season planning questions

Hi!
I have a question regarding the season planning.
I need to manually adjust the phase of the plan. Is there a way to do that? I understand I can just delete workouts or add them to have different load but I think thats not the ideal.
The case is that as I was setting up Athletica and changing the training plan, I happen to have build phase on place where recovery phase should be (as I have completed build phases and then recalculated the plan).
Even if I am not considering this corner case, life happens and sometimes you need to make adjustments to your season planning, so I am wandering how this can be done. For example I am planning a holiday or a training camp that will have different training load for that week.

Additionally some extra feedback / feature requests / as I do not think its available now

  1. It would be great to see which workouts are key workouts of the week/month, and which are recovery/complimentary. I guess following the predicted load kind of gives the idea which ones are key
  2. Would love to see the monthly overview in the calendar - better for understanding how the sessions follow up and to keep track on the key sessions
  3. I dont think its possible to set it up but it would be great to adjust the recovery week - its giving every 3rd week as recovery as default, but I would opt for every 4.

Thanks!

you can change weeks if that’s what you mean…replace a build week with a recovery week. In overview, click on date, and then it gives you the option for recovery week or to move it…

Hi @cmaloney
Thank you so much for the advice—that’s exactly the feature I couldn’t find! It’s a huge help.
Do you happen to know if the rest of the season plan will automatically adjust based on this change, or will I need to manually update each block moving forward?
Thanks!

I think it just swaps out what you tell it to swap with, or will change to a recovery week if you click on the box…I don’t think it will adjust anything else. But I’m not sure what you are trying to change. I used this feature when I was training for a marathon, and I was travelling on holiday during a build, with the recovery week being the following week. I swapped these two weeks so that I could have a recovery week on holiday and then the build week once I was home. So instead of Build 1, Build 2, Recovery, I changed it to Build 1, Recovery, Build 2…not ideal, but I didn’t want to have to train so much on holiday so it worked great…

Hi @cmaloney yes you are right, nothing was recalculated. It would be a good feature though! I guess it will be easier just to run the training plan recalculation again, than manually adjusting each week
I needed to add recovery week, because I had like 4 build weeks in row  so now I have 2 recovery weeks in row this is why I need to either manually adjust the whole plan or run the planning again, which I think is okay.
