I have this super frustrating problem. I can’t generate a training plan. I get this message: “There was an error with the data submitted: The speed field is required when hr is present”
On a related note: Why can’t I create race events on week days? All of my races are on Zwift and on week days. This feels like it is making the app pretty useless.
I had that problem with one of my athletes yesterday. You can just delete the thresholds for the others.
As for the weekday races, I just move an equivalent workout to the day, and let Athletica do the rest. Typically, I move the 30/30s to the Zwift race day.
Thank you. That is of course a fine workaround for one part of the problem. Seems to me that it would be good if the AI knew that I needed to have fresh legs for the race and therefore could adjust the schedule to ensure that (e.g., by scheduling my rest day the day before).
You can always delete any session before the race to suit your individual experience and knowledge what works best for you.
Many athletes thrive on little bit of movement the day(s) before instead of fu rest days depending on their fatigue and athlete type. But perhaps in the future athletes could tell AI coach details about their best practice for further individualization @Prof …? For example: “ I do best with full rest day the day before a race” or “three/two/one week of taper please”
