Updates to Race Goals

I see that there have been updates to the race goal settings. Found under the Settings tab > Goals.

Many months ago I set up my race dates and assigned priority (A,B,C) for these for the current training year. I have completed my base phases, and I am well into my Builds.

I would like to add my goal times and then my individual, swim, bike, run times. overall place, etc.

My question and hesitation to complete this section relates to the “SAVE and Update Training Plan,” button at the button. If I include my goal times, etc and press Save. Will the AI rewrite all of my training going forward? As if I was starting a new training plan? Would I have to start with a Base phase cycle again? Or would my Build phases adjust going forward.

It does delete and rewrite going forward, and will give a new test week unless you check “skip test week”.

I’m not sure what week (base or build) it will start you with, though it should be similar volume to where you are already since you’ve been working long enough for the AI to know your fitness levels.

Personally I also hesitate to update when I’m happy with my plan - I did a lot of updating my plans over and over early on due to deciding between low volume and mid volume and figuring out my schedule, and each time it deleted the rest of my workouts for the week which was somewhat annoying LOL. Due to that I’d recommend selecting “start tomorrow” when you do decide to recreate it, or do it on a Sunday, so that you don’t lose workouts for the rest of the week.
