Custom Warm Up and Cool Down Durations by Workout Type

I perform all my workouts outdoors and for Strength Endurance, Threshold, VO2 it takes longer than the default warm up and cool down durations to reach the road locations suitable for the sessions…

If I edit the warm up and cool-down durations, then Athletica treats it as added by me, and the workouts become no longer adaptive.

I’d like the option to set default warm up and cool-down durations for different workout types. Thus I can let the AI take in account the extended warm up and cool down periods, whilst keeping the main set adaptive.

@Phil and anyone following this thread, could you please test a new feature we’ve quietly rolled out before we make a larger announcement? Ultimately allows pushed workouts to Garmin to have an ‘open’ warm-up or cool down. This can be beneficial when you have a variable amount of time you know its going to take you to get to the hill or whatever to do the main set of your workout. Thanks for the help.

@Prof I have an Edge Expore 2 which doesn’t accept workouts. I’ve created myself an IQ field which I just set the on and off intervals timings for each set. It plays distinct tones for the start of each on and off intervals as well as give count downs. I just then start each set when I’ve reached the section of road I intend to use.
