I am trying to add a running MAF test to my week. I go to global library of workouts and filter by run and I see nothing. There are 131 test workouts but purely bike or rowing. Is this a bug or it’s not implemented?
For some reason the couch altered my test-week maf test to a 74 minute aero session, so I don’t think I can’t use it unadulterated.
Hi Wigster, I can remember I had the same issue when I started using my plan. If search your training plan you can go back to your original MAF run test and save it to your own library. You can do this with any of the sessions. Go to the three dots on right hand side and select the save to library option. You can also rename sessions. I renamed mine by time or distance which makes it easier to find as my library is well stocked!
Thanks for the suggestion. The problem is that Athletica modified the workout containing the MAF test workout turning it into an aerobic one – not sure why, but I guess the AI decided that the training load was too high for that week once it imported my previous data and understood I am not at my best currently. I didn’t really understand this at the time and now I do not have a MAF test and I don’t really want to restart the training plan I am 3 weeks into, just to generate a new test week.
Not sure what the status of these things is these days. The optimisation algorithm seems to update the plan after every run, so maybe having an explicit workout classed as a test isn’t treated any differently to running a random workout in the manner that would be prescribed by the test.
