With the beta time constraints feature, there are some days on which two workouts of the same modality get scheduled. For example, a tempo run and an aerobic run. Is there a recommendation about the order in which to do the workouts if they are combined into one workout? I would assume do the higher-intensity one first (in the example, do the tempo run workout followed by the aerobic session); is that right? Any suggestions about whether it would be better to record these on a watch as two separate activities vs. a single activity if they are done continuously?
Hi @rap ,
This is a known issue for the beta user-time constraints release. We’ll be working towards combining those sessions in the future. Currently we recommend that you combine the sessions by inserting the main set of the second workout somewhere between the WU and CD (if appropriate).
So just to confirm @Prof when I see these double sessions, that is not a bug (which I assumed it was, so usually switched out one for a different discipline), but rather, should be combined into one session?
@Prof right on queue, to demonstrate, here is what has been scheduled for me tomorrow (actually changed tonight from what was originally a swim and run I think from memory). This seems like an awful lot of swimming in one session (for me) if I was to combine them:
I assume that is a bug, and so I use the Workout Wizard if possible to switch one of those swims to a ride or run.
Thank you @AdamJowett … reported.
