The importance of commenting your sessions

I don’t comment often. But I’ve been telling it that it overestimates my run pace for 30/30s and longer L2 runs, as well as mentioning when my soleus injuries flare up, but it hasn’t seemed to take it it into consideration.

So while the AI “coach” I find moderately annoying (especially when I get praise for doing an easy workout a loat harder than prescribed, at least based on Athletica’s numbers), today was the first time he actually added value.

Prompt on a 90-minute aerobic ride:

Faded a bit towards the end - not due to fatigue, just was sort of fed up with spinning.

Coach’s response ended with:

I understand that you faded a bit towards the end; it’s important to stay mentally engaged, so consider mixing up your routines! Remember to check out alternatives from the Workout Wizard to keep things fresh and stick to your plan. :man_biking:

A very good idea, actually.

I think what @SoCal1x is suggesting makes a great sense. I am for example seeing a great opportunity here to add a comment like “felt fatiqued, not feeling well, maybe getting ill” and in that case, training for the rest of the week or at least following couple of days got readjusted to easier sessions. After you complete the easier sessions, you can provide feedback that you are feeling yourself again and AI can recalculate how to get back the key sessions and get back on the track with the plan. Sounds pretty cool!
