We are interviewing bike fitter and cycling coach Stacey Brickson. Do you have any questions about bike fit? Comment below!
What are the benefits and downsides of going for a more aggressive bike fit with a lower handlebar position? I’m currently considering removing one or two spacers from under my handlebar.
The importance and impact of minor adjustments - I thought I had my fit dialed then went to a fitter and gained massive efficiency, increased comfort / decreased pain, and more power from just a few (seemingly) slight tweaks. Maybe see if they can recommend 1-2 “easy wins” to get people started, then have them converted and decide to go to a fitter?
And for those that can’t afford a fit right now (usually hundreds of dollars!), what are 2 things people can do themselves as a bridge until they can get a real fit?
What are their thoughts on the various bike fit apps?
