Thanks @Levidps. Have reported bug and will get back to you.
@Levidps could you aim to provide screenshots for this next they come up please?
Not sure if this is a BUG or not. Just completed my swim session this AM. The planned distance was 1800 yards as noted at the top of the session. However, when I scroll down to review Planned with Actual. It notes that the planned was 1,968 yards. I did make sure the session was refreshed this AM before I got into the pool. Am I missing something? Thank you, Joe
Yet another “Not sure if it’s a bug or not” report, but I definitely need help with this @Prof
This is the first time I have a session like the screenshot below, but it doesn’t make sense because some rests would be in the middle of the lane, when I do them in a 50m pool. I have to make modifications to make sure rests are at the end of the lanes. What would you recommend?
Hey Anil,
I love 50m pools! 25 m pools make me feel like a pingpong ball.
I would still do 75m, just estimate where the middle of the pool is (sometimes they have a mark at midway), and then swim easy to the end. Your sets will be 100m, but you will do 75m all out efforts and then just swim easy to the wall and then take your break.
Enjoy!
Yeah the same feeling with the 25m pools here. Also the ones here in Berlin are not suitable for all outs at all.
Then you recommend having longer cruising if the all outs finish in the middle of the pool. That sounds good to me! Thanks a lot.
Yes! A little longer cruising will only help you recover and better recovery will help you sustain those all-out efforts at higher quality, so don’t ever be afraid to allow yourself a little more recovery!
Hey @KinesioMS, I think that issue may relate to a setting adjustment you can make. Go to edit profile and click on “Don’t modify current date’s sessions” and that issue should disappear. Hope that helps.
Best,
Paul
Hello all, one of my coaching clients says he’s not able to see anything on Athletica and he only gets this screen:
I can’t even find where that screen is. Any suggestions or thoughts? I told him to log out and log back in again to try and reset.
I swam this morning, 1700 yards in a 25 yard pool, and I have my Athletica (and Garmin) settings set to a 25 yard pool length. It shows up as 1699 yards in the workout summary in Athletica – not a major issue, just a little odd but maybe still worth investigating.
Though not an ideal plan, I still wanted to get in the mileage, time and metabolic effect. I moved my ROB from Saturday to Sunday (today). I ran the ROB first, took a short break and then did the long run. Using the Athletica to Garmin link. I correctly completed the workouts and they were saved in GarminConnect accurately. However when they transfered to my Athletica Training plan, they are flipped. See attached. Would this negatively affect my training plan going forward?
Hi @KinesioMS,
Can you try swapping sessions?
Thank you Paul. The swap worked perfectly.
This same thing happens to me from time to time.
You can see plan overview is highlighted, thus I’d guess it’s meant to be that page but the bit that’s usually on the right has not loaded. Maybe a slow Internet day?
Hi @Ironben. Bugs like these I’m told relate to the beta group you are part of. Let me know if you’d rather be removed from this group. Alternatively, you might want to expand your Thursday bike constraints to see if that lets in the main set?
Best,
Paul
Hi Prof, I expanded the constraint and now it looks good, even if the workout is shorter than before now.
Hey @Ironben ,
Really appreciate the update there as it helps everyone on the beta team that comes across the issue know what they might do if this issue occurs. It also helps our development team understand the user experience giving us insight into how to make changes in the future.
Thanks again,
Paul
