Running heart rate zones have lowered significantly

Hi

My running heart rate zones have changed and lowered significantly and I don’t recall accepting a change.

My easy/aerobic/zone 2 was 137-156 and when I went to run this morning it has dropped to 111-127. I got around this by pushing the workout back to Garmin based on pace instead so all was fine. How do I revert them back to what they were as they felt pretty perfect.

For reference I had an average HR of 179 in a half marathon I did in October.

Thanks

Adam

Happens to me too. My critical HR always sets itself back from 160 to 137 or so and have to reset it again then

Hey,

this may be:

  1. a bug
  2. you didn’t use your chest strap on a training run and there’s garbage data in your system. Can you think of a time you didn’t use your chest strap? If so, go to that data and delete the fit file and enter the data manually (time, kms/miles).
If option 1. Please report in the bug reports.

Hope this helps
MJ

Always wear the HR strap and can’t remember last time I had crap data from there. Next time it happens, gonna report it there :+1:

I always use a chest strap and haven’t got any bad data so will pop over to the bugs thread now.
