Bug reports

@dccampione Please tell us more on your season or where we can read more about it!

Yes we get this a lot. Unfortunately these is a lag going from the front web service to the brain of Athletica where the logic is formed until it comes back to the front web. Usually about 10 min. If you look to that same graph now you can see that it looks normal. Just a limitation we haven't been able to address yet. Good results take time I guess.

@phil Thanks for noting. I have logged that bug report and hopefully we can address before you perform the session.

@prof Thanks. One further bug I’ve found. If I recalculate my training plan then it deletes any sessions I’ve added to my library. it also deletes the sessions from my training plan, despite the fact I’d locked these sessions in on the dates in question.

I’ve only recalculated plan as I wanted to extend train to maintain by a week to account for a holiday I’ll now be taking. I’ll obviously have it recalculate again once I start adding my event dates into the plan.

@phil thanks… we’ve applied some fixes here… can you try again please?

@prof okay late here so just tested a few things.

1. it now saves it to the library when I tick box when creating.

2. for distance targets it doesn’t calculate load or estimate duration. (See screen clip 1)

3. For the WU you can add distance but you still can’t get rid of duration.(see screen clip 1)

4. If I put duration targets it calculates load (screen clip 2)

@phil ah yes - this is currently a limitation. Solvable in the future but no capacity at present. At this point we have no means of knowing a cyclist’s corresponding pace zones to reverse calculate via distance. As you know, pace will change drastically w

Just noticed two little bug with the swim time trial I did yesterday.

Prior to I performed the test, the workout within the plan was originally scheduled with a total of 1,400m (distance in the summary at the top of the workout).

After I did the session, the engine updated the plan and I noticed two issues with the session:

First the originally total distance at the top of the workout description changed to 1,300m.

Secondly when you click on the "Details & Analysis" button to put in RPE, feeling etc. I noticed in the summary at the bottom, that the planned distance is 1,550m.

Not sure if this is only a bug/issue with the swim time trial or if this could also happen with other workouts.

Probably you can check this please? :-)

@prof not to worry I’ve set the sessions to duration.

Hi Rene. Thanks for reporting that. I think its because this tick box wasn't checked so that sessions are updated on the day. I've checked that for you now so let's see if that solves the issue.

Best,

Prof

@ProfJust went for a run and discovered I had today's workout in triple on my Garmin watch. When I returned I looked at the Garmin Connect calendar and I see that every session is this way for the next 7 days. Is this an Athletica --> Garmin sync issue?

Aaand while I'm thinking about it. Every session that is synced with Athletica from Garmin produces 2 notification entries with the same date and time. Is there a reason for that? When looking at the workout I see that the session information comes from 2 sources: *.fit and Garmin. Are two sources of data being synced?

Thanks Jesse. Being reported by multiple users so we're going to investigate.

@phil Hi Phil. Not sure why that wouldn't be part of your original bug report?

If you switch from train to main to race you completely reset the system (currently).

Otherwise I think the second half of your message is a dev request and the library issue is the same bug. You see this differently?

@prof No same as original bug, but as I reported more than one issue (some fixed) just wanted to ensure second part not missed. No worries if it’s still logged ???

Hi Everyone.

With respect to the Garmin duplicate session bug, that has been fixed.

However, all the workouts will remain on Garmin, since, we have no way of knowing whether they belong to an Athletica workout, or someone/something else. So duplicates will unfortunately need to be manually removed, one by one, by the user.

Users will have two or three depending how many days (or plan updates) have lapsed since this bug occurred a few days ago.

Sorry about that team!

Athletica.ai sending multiple copies of workouts to Garmin.

Just started happening this week at 4 copies last week it was two.

I can't seem to figure out how to move a workout outside of the current training week. For example, if there is a workout on Monday but I want to move it one day earlier (to Sunday), I can't drag the workout to the previous week. Is it possible to enter the date where I want the workout to move to?

My Sunday, Monday, Tuesday sessions all have power data in Connect and Strava both of which are linked. Athletica doesn’t show any power data for these sessions. All three sessions are long ones, which may be cause.

Trying to add a rest day to my library and then to my day today. Go to create a session called rest day with the modality of rest, click save to my library, and hit save. I get the green message saying it was saved, but it doesn't get added to my day nor to my library.

You can’t select alternate workouts in the workout wizard in Safari or Firefox on iOS 16.6.1. Works fine if I do it in Firefox on PC and select with mouse click.
