You’d think, but no. No permutation I’ve tried today has given me a single bike workout on Thursdays (or any other day). I also tried setting to bike at least 90 minutes on Thursdays; no joy, still gave me runs and S&C only. It’s weird.
The only other constrains I have are some minor time ones on work days that aren’t relevant to Thursdays.
Maybe giving Athletica more time to chew through the constraints (more than the “several minutes” it’s asking for) might work. Like, don’t believe it when it says the new plan is ready, not just yet. I remember one point at which I just waited the problems out and the program corrected itself after a few more hours (minutes?).
Yeah, I’m aware of this phenomenon. The first time I tried this, I left it overnight, thinking that was exactly what was happening. The next couple of times, I let it be for a couple hours. Since I have the opportunity, though, I’ll try one more time and let it sit for at least several hours. Will report back.
Well, after over 6 hours, still no change - I still get runs and S&C on Thursdays, and no bikes at all. Here is my whole set of constraints:

I am trialing and would like to prevent being oversubscribed during the early week (mon/tue/wed) due to work / kids and having the rest of the week a little more flexible.
I just finished my first 70.3 have another scheduled mid year, and am hoping for a full distance within the year.
Used Mosely’s plan and looking to compare.

Thank you for your response! I just recently started and I would like to set specific user constraints - on Monday I only have 30 min I could train - while on Saturday I could train up to 2 hours and Sunday 3 hours. Other days I don’t want to exceed 60-80 minutes for now. Thanks a lot for your help!
hi there, I joined the beta program yesterday, set up 4 simple rules and let the plan bake overnight per the above thread. This morning my plan is a spaghetti plate of scattered workouts, and ignores 3 of the 4 rules that I’ve established. Is there something that I missed? Thanks for your guidance!

Loving the new time constraints interface but what is the difference between the three button settings for each modality?
There is greyed out, dark border, and dark interior. What do they mean?
