Week's training totals

Hi team

As I’m heading into a new week I have reviewed the week gone and there are a few questions I have.

My past week’s planned total bike is showing 16h27m, with only 11h27m completed. Logistics today meant I wasn’t able to do my planned 1h30m hot laps ride, I settled for an extra strength session instead. If had done that ride the week total would be 13h, 3 1/2 short of the planned.

So I’m down about 30% of the planned ride time.

My ride times have been compliant all week getting in my daily planned hours. I thought it might be because I had ridden too hard or long, thereby overdoing the planned load, with Athletica therefore adjusting my hours. But my actual load is under the planned load.

Any thoughts or explainers?

This is a guess (not 100% sure): if the total includes the originally planned workouts, and then the AI reduces duration e.g. when it thinks you’re overtrained, those reductions might not be reflected.

Perhaps not applicable to you, but pauses e.g. when riding outdoors at stoplights or for bathroom breaks, also during swims (including the workout’s planned interval rests LOL) are not counted so I find that often I did the workout compliantly but the total time counted is less.

Hey! Not sure  please correct me if I’m wrong. Your original bike duration for this week was 16.5hr. You missed one 1.5hr session. So your total should have been 15hrs. Instead your total completed is 13 hrs. Can you see the daily original durations? Did they get down-adjusted during the week ? Perhaps new zones affected your load calculations ? Please check your set bike zones for me. So they make sense to you?

@Marjaana @kimberg @PhilB this should be fixed moving forward

thanks all.
It seems it’s the total planned hours/load at the start of the week which doesn’t change with the adaptations that are prescribed in response to daily fluctuations.

And thanks Paul, noting a future fix.
